Riyadh – Mubasher: Wajd Life Trading Company has issued a corrective announcement regarding its previous disclosure from 10 November 2025, according to a bourse filing.

The initial announcement is related to the appointment of members to vacant seats on its board of directors.

The company stated that the earlier announcement regarding the appointments of Assem Al Humaidhi and Abdulaziz Al Damas was incorrect.

Wajd Life clarified that the appointments were not in compliance with the provisions of the Articles of Association in effect at the time.

According to the governing documents, the board of directors was required to consist of four members.

At the time of the original announcement, the board was already at its full capacity of four members, meaning no vacancies existed to justify the new appointments.

The company apologized to its shareholders and market participants for the error, emphasizing its commitment to adhering to all relevant laws and instructions and confirmed it is taking the necessary steps to rectify the disclosure.

It is worth noting that Wajd Life also disclosed a correction regarding the results of its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on 30 June 2026.
